Summary
The year is 2206. Mankind has suffered an infertility epidemic which has brought us to the brink of extinction. Esperança is the one remaining survivor of the last generation of humans, called Generation Z. These pages are her testimony, which she sends into outer space to seek the help in other worlds that humankind could not provide for itself. More than an exciting science fiction story, this novel aims to bring environmental problems to the reader’s attention, calling for change here and now, while we are still in time to save our planet.

The author
David Duran (Barcelona, 1963) is a Bachelor of Psychology, working as a teacher in secondary education and collaborating with the university. He is the author of successful young adult novels such as Cicle Bis (Re-Cycle), which has also been translated into Spanish and Galician.
