Grandpas, Pirahnas and Other Stories, the new book by Rocio Bonilla

A Letter From Bromera

First of all, we do hope you and your families are well. This is the most important thing right now.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to meet in Bologna. We were all aware that this difficult decision was very likely due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Italy and many other European countries, as Spain. For all of us, the fair is more than a business convention: it is a cultural festival in one of the most charming Italian cities. We want to express our solidarity with all that are suffering the consequences of this crisis.

Let’s hope the next Frankfurt Book Fair will be a celebration and will have the chance to meet each other. From now on, we will do our best to prepare this autumn fair. In the meanwhile, of course, we will keep in touch through our usual channels (email and newsletters).

Besides, we have created an Instragram account (@bromerarights) and we invite you to schedule Skype meetings, even from our houses if we telecommute (it will be funny to see each other’s libraries!). We will give you more details about these new actions soon.

We will shortly send you our 2020 catalogue. Among other releases, we are glad to present Rocio Bonilla’s new picture book: Grandpas, Pirahnas and Other Stories. We will tell you more things about this wonderful book in a few days, but you have a nice preview in our Instagram account. Of course, we have a wide range of stories and styles that you will surely enjoy. Please do not hesitate to ask for additional information.

In these uncertain times, empathy, perseverance and prudence must prevail. Culture will be a shelter and weapon to face this unusual challenge. All of us, fellow publishers, are committed in this task. And together, we will succeed.

Take care, keep calm and read good books,

The stories created by our gallery of authors and illustrators already travel around the world, in many countries of the fifth continents, and they talk multiple languages. Stories made with enthusiasm in order to convey values and edited with care to offer quality books to the most demanding readers: the little ones.
